Legends seem too powerful a word. Think we have had cult heroes, but not true legends. You have to go back a long way for these, Bonds, Brooking. These should be celebrated while they are able to.

None. A lot of the problems with Sully and Gold is that they are desperate to make legends of our players in order to shill merchandise, etc.
They did it with Payet, and as soon as he pissed off they started hyping up the songs for Antonio and Lanzini in order to fill the gap. Think back to the adulation they lavished on Sakho during his one hot streak...
Legends at a club are getting rarer and rarer. I would say Dicksy or Paolo were probably our last ones. Noble is West Ham through and through, but is a middling player to my eyes so does not have the requisite attributes. After all, Potts and Concur were loyal - are they legends?
